Tohoku University Technology: Electrical Stimulation Device for Cells: T21-196
Reproducibly generate stimulation patterns that mimic biological systems using constant current control and detachable carbon electrodes.
An electric stimulation device serves as a tool to mimic muscle contractions and cardiac muscle pulsations on a culture dish. However, conventional electric stimulation devices have limitations in their stimulation patterns, failing to adequately replicate biological stimuli, and they also exhibit poor reproducibility between experiments. This electric stimulation device overcomes these issues. By using this device, it is possible to highly mimic biological stimulation patterns, and the reproducibility between experiments is extremely high. ■ Main Features ■ - Capable of generating any type of electric pulse pattern - High reproducibility through precise constant current stimulation - High reproducibility with detachable carbon electrodes - Low manufacturing cost and compact size, making it easy to integrate with other equipment - Compatible with other analytical devices - High throughput capability (can handle multiple samples)
